Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) is the regulator of immigration consultants. Immigration
consultants in good standing with the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants

Authorized immigration consultants, lawyers, Québec
notaries, and paralegals regulated by a law society are people who can offer immigration
advice to applicants. Some applicants may choose to use such a representative to
act on their behalf with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), the Immigration
and Refugee Board or the Canada Border Services Agency.
Agent Identification:
Please note that all persons who assist in the preparation
of study permit applications must be identified in Question One of the Study Permit
Questionnaire. If you are authorizing the release of your file information to an
authorized representative, the person must be identified on form IMM 5476B.
